Young Money APAA Sports and Entertainment is proud to welcome Duke Riley to the YMAPAA family!

Duke, a native of Buras, Louisiana was born on August 9, 1994 and attended John Curtis High School where he was a star football player. He helped lead John Curtis to three straight Class 2A state championships, winning during his junior and senior seasons. He also earned game MVP honors during his sophomore year championship game because of his 21 tackles. Due to his exceptional senior year performance, The Louisiana Sports Writers Association named Duke to the Class 2A All-State Team and also named him the Most Outstanding Defensive Player in Class 2A.

With many collegiate offers, Duke decided to stay in state and attend Louisiana State University where he excelled once again. During his 4-year career, Duke made an appearance in every game and started all games during his senior season. During that senior year campaign, Duke emerged as one of LSU’s defensive leaders after playing a vital role on special teams during his first three seasons. He recorded 93 tackles, 9 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks during his senior season and because of these efforts and the respect he attained from his teammates, they voted him LSU’s most valuable player and was also named as one of three permanent defensive team captains for the 2016 season.

Since leaving LSU after his senior season, Duke is currently training for the NFL combine and is excited about the process and work ahead of him to accomplish his goal of being in the NFL next season.
